Currently, Acurian is recruiting parents or caregivers with children 6 to 11 years of age to participate in a daily common cold survey! In order to qualify for this study, you must have 3 or more children/siblings in your household and/or the child must have had a history of three or more colds per winter season over the last two winters! There will be 250 participants who will be chosen to participate in this study. Go here to see if you qualify!
A few items to note...
During your participation, you will be asked to complete a daily online survey that will assess the presence or absence of the common cold. If you believe that your child is experiencing a cold you will begin to rate the severity ("how bad") of each cold symptom with the help of your child once a day until your child no longer has any cold symptoms or up to a maximum of 10 days. After 10 days (or sooner if your child's symptoms are no longer present), you will be asked to complete a final survey that will tell us about your experiences while participating in the research study. After completing all required surveys, you will receive a $50 electronic (email) gift certificate to Amazon.com.
Reimbursement...
You will be compensated $50.00 for your participation in this surveillance study. You will be provided with a $50.00 Amazon.com electronic gift certificate after you have completed all study related surveys.
